EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Mila is married to Ben Fourie. Originally from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, South Africa, she relocated to New Zealand with her family during her eighth year of schooling.

She completed her first year of higher education at the University of Auckland before returning to South Africa, where she obtained her BA in Drama from the University of Pretoria in 2014.

CAREER

Mila made her television debut in 2014 in the 10th season of the kykNET soap opera Binnelanders, playing “Zanel Jordaan.”

Her film debut followed in 2015 with Ballade vir ‘n Enkeling, and she has since appeared in several short and feature films, including For the Birds, Wonderlus, Vuil Wasgoed, Desember, Stille Nag, Soek jy ‘n Lift, and Parable.

In 2016, she was cast as “Malanie Schmit” in the kykNET mockumentary comedy series Hotel, where she remained a regular throughout all seasons.

That same year, she also made guest appearances in the kykNET musical drama series Sterlopers and the SABC1 legal drama Sokhulu & Partners.

In 2017, Mila portrayed “Nonnie Blignout” in the film Liewe Kersfeesvader, directed by Etienne Fourie, earning a nomination for Best Actress at the Silwerskerm Festival.

She kept demonstrating her talent in several TV series such as Phil101, Bedford Wives, Erfsondes, Keeping Score, and Alles Malan.

Mila solidified her position in the industry by appearing in the short film Miemie, which received recognition at the 2019 Silwerskermfees.

Her career thrived further as she became part of popular shows like 7de Laan, Die Laager, and Ekstra Medium, highlighting her versatility as an actress.
