Jide Kosoko took a bold stance against drug abuse earlier this year, declaring himself the “New Chairman of NDLEA” in a humorous yet impactful statement. Donning an NDLEA outfit, he announced a ban on various substances, including Alabukun, phensic, paracetamol, soft drinks, energy drinks, and other painstaking drugs, advocating for water as the only recommended and approved choice. This move was made following his appointment, showcasing his commitment to combating substance abuse.
By taking a firm stance, Kosoko joined the ranks of other influential figures, such as Naira Marley and Toyin Abraham, who have also spoken out against drug abuse
