Davido’s father reveals upcoming power plant project; netizens react 

Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s billionaire father, has revealed that, he is investing $2 billion in a massive 1,250-megawatt power plant project in Nigeria.

It’s worth noting that Adeleke’s efforts in the power sector are part of his broader business endeavors, which include serving as the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited and President of Adeleke University . His son, Davido, has publicly praised his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic efforts .

Adedeji Adeleke, made some exciting announcements at the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council. He revealed that his family’s efforts already contribute a significant 15% of Nigeria’s electricity needs. But that’s not all – he’s taking it to the next level by building the largest power plant in Nigeria, which will undoubtedly boost the country’s energy supply.

He also revealed that he is collaborating with Chinese engineering companies to build Nigeria’s largest power plant, with a projected completion date of January, ensuring a significant boost to the country’s electricity supply.

In Nigeria, I am in the electricity business; I own a power plant, and presently, I generate about 15% of the electricity made from Nigeria. I have Chinese Engineering companies that work. I am building and almost completed in January by the grace of God my new power plant to be the biggest power plant in Nigeria”.

Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father, made headlines in August when he generously donated N1 billion to a Lagos-based church during a Thanksgiving service held in honor of his late mother.

Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father, made a remarkable pledge in July, offering immediate employment to first-class engineering graduates from Adeleke University. This generous promise was made during the university’s 10th undergraduate and 6th postgraduate convocation ceremony.

As part of this initiative, these exceptional graduates will have the opportunity to work at Pacific Energy’s branches in Ondo or Ogun State during their National Youth Service Corps program, followed by automatic employment after completing their service year.
